If the title of this movie makes you think you can't take it seriously, watch to confirm your suspicions with the picnic-blanket-bondage-scene or the one in which Lana Turner does the impossible performance of the line, "Alright, I will, you... you hotdog fiend." 

There is a good piece of writing around Sam "Pops" Marlow, played by Leon Errol. The film also has some fun using the radio as a narrative agent.
