1 room, 2 parents and an incredible escalation. Foster really gets under your skin and Waltz does an amazing cold-blooded serpent. After the Scotch things get ugly. Or not? Polanski almost seems to want to show us that it's better to let go than to hold back and be polite. I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Recommended.
