Gemini Man ★★★

Quite a mess in many ways, but somehow it works even in all its lazy pulp of bad fatherhood psychology and half-baked existential issue -  it seems so uncaring and delusional about it all that something about its dramatic ineptitude turns it into quite an enjoyable ride. It’s a very weird exercise where the film’s inability to convey its commentary turns it into a less unbearable approach and finds some fun in the way, be it with the actors’ interactions and jocular drama or with the thrill of its action, which is way above average (really great first setpiece between Smith and his clone).
