Dion Wyn’s review published on Letterboxd:
Chantel Akerman's craft for stillness and poignant solitude is unparalleled. Jeanne Dielman, 23, Quai du Commerce 1080 Bruxelles is a telling film that tackles our rituals, habits, existence and our mental health. The infamous runtime deeply portrays a woman who's life has changed and she must maintain her routine in order to make it through the day. Akerman's attention to detail demonstrates an artist who visualised her imagination on screen. Very unique cinema!
