The production design is genius but apart from that I have nothing positive to say about this. Miserablism has its place when you’re trying to show something like postwar trauma but there has to be a fucking point to it... maybe it works for some but to me I didn’t even feel anything this was so sterile and lacking in any kind of empathy or even meaning. Like truly I was just waiting for even a shred of empathy from the filmmaking but no. God. Had to stop after the “sex” scene
