Now that was something. What a thriller. Very unique. Also ”minimal” would be the right word to portray the style of this film.

Seven Samurai 1954
Seven Samurai was cool. And long. I usually never watch any samurai films or old action films in general but this is a must see classic & I’m glad I watched it. It’s not just an action film, more like a drama mixed with some good comedy & amazing fight scenes. They even had a Rick Owens lookalike! I wish the film was in color, it’d look even more gorgeous! I don’t think I’ll visit many other works by Akira Kurosawa though.

A Clockwork Orange 1971
I really liked it. Amazing cinematography, set designs, clothing, acting & of course the soundtrack. Alex is such an interesting & unique character. The ”humble” narration fit perfectly in the scenes. The jail scenes would’ve been better if they were futuristic. Deserves a rewatch for sure!

Blade Runner 2049 2017
”To Be Born Is To Have A Soul, I Guess.”
Blade Runner 2049 is a beautiful story, visually & storywise. The plot twist isn't the best, but it still suprises for sure. Mostly I loved the cinematography, the cgi work & the sound design/soundtrack. The environments are so detailed & unique. The acting is pretty good too. Ryan Gosling has never been my favorite actor, but gotta say, he nailed his role perfectly. Really looking forward to Dune later this year.
