    Punch-Drunk Love

Movies are beautiful lies and one of the most beautiful among them is that someday a gorgeous woman will drop into your life out of nowhere and fall in love with what a weirdo you are. One of the best and strangest romantic comedies.

It's Black QAnon. Even funnier then that sounds.

    Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!

Sometimes I get frustrated with how much media is about media, directly or indirectly, meta-commentary and self-referential. Eizouken! is a great exception. Rather than pretentious navel gazing or tv tropes bullshit, Eizouken depicts in detail the craft of animation and the struggles and personalities involved in it.

Briskly paced, delightful, charming, imaginative and beautifully animated, it is itself a great example of what makes animation a wonderful medium.
