I've always got time to listen to people deconstruct the philosophy, psychology and art behind Leone's films.
There wasn't too much that was revelatory in here but similarly, there was no flab and the list of contributors for a doc about a man that only directed 7 feature films in his life speaks volumes.
Fairly paint-by-numbers; for a player that is widely regarded as one of, if not the best player to ever grace the sport, this isn't a feeling that ever really comes across. Could've delved a lot deeper into the political situations running parallel to the timeline of his career, too.
Still, some of the archive footage is great and there's a bit to be learnt for those that aren't too familiar with this era of footballing history.
