Ofcourse, this would be a perfect double feature with misery. Alot of similarities but still very different.
I overall liked it, i didn't find the story as satisfying as "Searching" though. That film had alot more attention to detail, and a much better 3rd act. Speaking of 3rd acts i kinda didn't like the 3rd act of this movie that much. I felt...strange, as if it was a different movie. I kinda wish it stayed in the claustrophobic house more.…

My first Michael Haneke film i watch.
Holy fuck....that was...amazing, yet horrible. But horrible in a good way. I've never seen such real performances in my life. It's honestly gut-wrenching and hard to watch. There were points were i nearly teared up for how real it was, even the child actor was fantastic. There's so many long takes that are so well directed and feel as if I'm watching this actually happen. The egg scene towards the beginning felt anxiety…
