These movies are so damn hilarious lmao. I'm just going to go ahead and give my thoughts on the whole Raimi trilogy in this review because I already do have longer reviews for all 3 of these movies. But all I'll say is that I really did have a blast going back and watching these movies again. I had not seen them in several years, so I think I kinda forgot how much I actually liked them. They really just do not make comic book movies like this anymore. I really do got to pay mad respect to Sam Raimi for bringing one of the greatest superheroes ever to the big screen. You really can tell throughout all 3 of these movies just how much passion he has for the character of Spider-Man. And even despite all the cheesy and funny aspects of these films, at the end of the day, they really do nail what makes Spider-Man such a great character, easily the best out of all the Spider-Man films along with Spider-Verse. That for me is what makes this trilogy special. One thing that did surprise me upon rewatching these movies, is that I think the first film might actually be my favorite of the trilogy. Don't get me wrong, I do love Spider-Man 2, but I think I just find myself enjoying the more cheesy and fun tone of the first film a bit more. It is also a bit faster paced too. But I think both are great either way. And as for my opinion on this movie, as you can see, it has not changed. I still think that Spider-Man 3 is a pretty underrated film. It has several problems and stupid things about it. But it also has a lot of greatness in it too and when it hits its highs, they are just as high as the first two films. It also closed off the trilogy very well imo. It may be the funniest film of the three as well, even if some of that is for the wrong reasons. But at the end of the day, I still do like a lot about this movie despite all of its problems. And as I've already said, I just really love and respect this trilogy overall. The movies are not perfect for sure, but as a huge Spider-Man fan, I cannot help but enjoy them a lot.
Also, I do want to once again announce that I have created a favorite films list now. The list is not ranked as of now because that's too hard for me to do atm. But I hope you all will still like seeing all of my personal favorite movies.
