I am not here to talk about how good this movie was many others gave it justice, instead I will be talking a little about the horrifying nature of dementia in this movie which was depicted very well.
*some spoilers ahead*
"All this nonsense is driving me crazy."
dementia patients not only suffer from sever memory loss but they also build a terrifying experiences in their imagination that actually never happened, like when Paul slapped him or when Anthony thought people steeling from him, those thing never happened... but only in their mind it did, And this is probably the worst aspect of living one can experience.
Nothing is real anymore, even you.
if you never lived with one who suffers from dementia count yourself lucky, it's really heartbreaking.
