No Sudden Move 2021
Steven Soderbergh is tied with Lynch, PTA and the Coens as my favorite living director. Little Children 2006
Todd Field showcases absolute tonal and visual mastery with this film that serves as a haunting meditation on suburban life and a gut-wrenching character study. Reminded me a lot of Magnolia (one of my favorite movies of all time). Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson are extraordinary and their chemistry is off the charts and Jackie Earle Haley is really good as well. LOVED this.

Da 5 Bloods 2020
I often forget about how I should count my blessings that we live in a time where Spike Lee is making movies. With Da 5 Bloods he delivers one of his absolute best joints, and I do not say that lightly. Featuring some of the absolute best editing, camerawork, and direction of his career, the film has so much to say and is filled to the brim with incredible performances. Netflix MUST push for Delroy in the best leading actor…
