Everything Everywhere All at Once

Everything Everywhere All at Once ★★★★½

When it was in theatres, some outlet ran with a headline like "EEAAO shows Marvel how to get the Multiverse right", and this is probably the dumbest sentence I've read all year.

Seriously though, EEAAO is an absurdly beautiful allegory on what it means to live and have lived a very normal life, and how to find happiness in that. And to root all of this so deeply in action and science fiction cinema makes it even more wonderful. Whoever takes the multiverse plotline literal should probably stay away from fiction altogether.

"I would have really liked just doing laundry and taxes with you."
