Matthias Bergleiter’s review published on Letterboxd:
It is almost unfortunate how shallow (no pun intended) this turned out to be, because the craftsmanship at display is fairly nice. The script is set up for a lot of ambiguity at almost every corner, but it seems like they never could resist pulling every last bit to the surface of the plot. Even the subplot about the changeling is underutilized by remaining a sidenote free of consequence. The Hallow is an effective and adequately thrilling ride, but it is not something I will likely remember in a few weeks from now.
