  A film with a bad-ass comic book character, Nicholas Cage and the duo who made the Crank films, what could possibly go wrong? ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.

  Act of Valor tries to sell itself on that it's using real Navy SEALs, their families, tactics and that, which makes the film "authentic". But really, it just makes the film poorly acted and really dull (and probably low budget too).

  Add some really tiresome writing and you've got something that doesn't really resemble an actual film but a video shown to potential recruits.

  Pure American pish.
