It must be absolutely gut-wrenching to watch your child be radicalized by hateful ideologies, and to be unable to parent them out of it because to do so would be to give away your own resistance work. I caught flashes of that pain here, but I wish the movie had dug a little more deeply into it.
Thomasin Mackenzie was electric. I can’t wait to see what else she does.
