Poltergeist meets ET with an evil doll thrown in for good measure too. Sure, it's stupid (very stupid) but it's so entertaining. If I saw this as a kid, it would've terrified me. In fact, it managed to jump scare me and I'm a horror movie buff.
One to watch if you're a lover of 80s nostalgia and creepy ass 'kid' movies...
Often overseen and ignored (by the series and fans), Nightmare On Elm Street 2 may be the most important film in the series - besides the 1st - introducing a fun camp element to the franchise that paved the way for its sequels. Homoerotic horror at its finest!
