Another Round follows four middle aged men teachers who start an experiment where they consume certain amounts of alcohol to see if it improves work performance and life fulfillment. It starts off rather innocent and funny but ultimately turns into disaster. I like how this film doesn’t state whether alcohol is good or not; but rather presents us both the joys and pitfalls of it. Mads Mikkelsen once again gives a terrific performance. I did honestly have issues with its loose structure and its pacing at times. Nonetheless, it is an interesting perspective on alcohol and its effect on our lives.
