I like to imagine Drew Goddard dropped a bunch of half written scripts and they all mixed together and somehow it worked.
I haven't seen the original Raimi movies in awhile but this might take my spot for my favorite Spider-Man movie. Full of heart and a great sense of humour. I was smiling through the entire thing. The animation is beautiful and a ridiculous amount of detail in every frame. Can't wait to add this to my collection.
SEAGAL, wearing a FRINGED JACKET and sporting a PONYTAIL, hunched over a TYPEWRITER re-writing "On Deadly Ground". His walls of his OFFICE which he obnoxiously calls his DOJO is lined with art and memorabilia adopted from other cultures.
TYPED ON SCREEN
I'm a mouse hiding from the hawks in the house of a raven
a TEAR drops on the page, SEAGAL wipes away the tears in disbelieve. He has never read a better script.
