THE ROOM (2003)
"Johnny is a successful bank executive who lives quietly in a San Francisco townhouse with his fiancée, Lisa. One day, putting aside any scruple, she seduces Johnny's best friend, Mark. From there, nothing will be the same again."
We already know it's crap and we already know it's repugnant reputation as a quintessential bad movie. We already know its story is unconventional garbage, the technical filmmaking aspects are lame, and writer/director Tommy Wiseau delivers one of the most pathetically bad acting performances ever on-screen, that it's downright hilarious.
But what we don't know...if this film was remade by someone like Christopher Nolan, could it be an erotic thriller with just the right amount of drama to make it satisfactory? Only in alternate dimensions is there any possibility of an answer.
