TRAIN TO BUSAN (2016)
"While a zombie virus breaks out in South Korea, passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan."
The first time I saw this I wasn't too impressed while appreciating and enjoying several aspects of this zombie-fest. A second viewing makes all the difference; I'm now a bonafide fan after repeat viewings.
Train To Busan is a South Korean zombie horror picture that takes place predominantly on a speeding bullet-train. It sort of reminds me of Snowpiercer (2013) except with zombies and a more subtle approach to class warfare. There's several thrilling, emotionally-engaging scenes and plenty of action & suspense to keep one invested throughout the entire duration. My only minor complaint: not scary at all!
Train To Busan is a great thrill-ride!
