i think this very may well have my favorite ending to a horror movie ever? it’s so hauntingly beautiful in its execution and truly makes it feel like you’re viewing something completely mystical and spectacular.
each moment is just as striking on the third watch as it was the first time. the mourning scene doesn’t get easier and the ‘beheading-with-pianowire’ scene is genuinely still fucking terrifying.
i’ve come to fully love this movie and am beyond excited for Midsommar.
