Greg Dorr’s review published on Letterboxd:
There's a lot going on in Goke -- assassinations, UFOs, suicidal birds, a hijacking, a plane crash -- and that's all in the first 20 minutes. Sadly, what it all ultimately amounts to that tired old irony-free sci-fi trope of an alien genocide-spree inspired by the warlike nature of humans. Some extremely cool effects are used briefly and then rarely brought back out when opportunities arise. The grim final scenes salvage a lot of the damage caused by focusing too much on the prosaic bickering between humans.
