Good Time ★★★½

Fresh crime thriller from directors with a welcome vision. I'm not sure it adds anything new to the premise of a lowlife narcissistic scuzz bag who makes everything worse with his misguided plans to make things better, but it's engaging for its duration, and I can't believe that the main actor is that sparkling twerp from Twilight. Pattinson is incredible, and the Safdie Brothers do a nice job of illuminating his humanity, and that of everyone he encounters, as he runs his life further and further into the muck.
