Dorsey’s review published on Letterboxd:
With the deadline fast approaching, Olivia Wilde delivers the decade's essential high school comedy. She comes out swinging with a hysterical, progressive, and magical debut stuffed with scene stealers (Billie Lourd...LEGENDARY) and absurdities that always circles back to its two fantastic leads, Molly (Beanie Feldstein) and Amy (Kaitlyn Dever). They shine so brightly in every scene, playing off each other with such great chemistry, there's no doubt about their lifelong friendship. Watching their coming of age over one crazy night is as endearing as it is hilarious, the last day of high school making the perfect fertile ground on which to learn about themselves, each other, and those around them that they'd written off. I feel like I've just met my own baby sisters. This one will be rewatched again and again.
