Some of this was really well done in terms of storytelling, but I wasn't entirely sold on some of the injections of Waititi's brand of humor into the narrative. Some of the comedy throughout occasionally feels at odds with the more serious aspects of the film, with Rebel Wilson's character being particularly obnoxious. The core story is good though, and it has some phenomenal acting from the film's two leads.
