While I fully understand why Lady Bird isn’t everyone’s favorite movie of the year or why some people may not even like Lady Bird, it’s definitely in my number one spot for 2017.

I’m at a loss for what to say about this movie, especially since so many great reviews have already been written, but it all felt so warm and real. I love Christine/Lady Bird with all my heart and I’m so insanely happy for and proud of Greta for making this beautiful, rightfully successful movie. I’ll be sad if she never steps in front of the camera again, but I can’t wait to see what else she has to offer as a writer/director. I’m ready to watch it all.
