This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Under all the imagery and psychological horror, this is literally the plot of a Law and Order episode (S5E15 "Seed"), down to the quote "God doesn't make babies, I do."

Also Law & Order Criminal Intent S7E2 "Seeds," which had the same plot, but I don't think it had the quote.

Hard to get past that, I guess.

    Death on the Nile

It's a frequently very pretty movie full of pretty people who all developed "Controversies" sections on their Wikipedia page before the film released. The film has no confidence in the strength of the source material, and Poirot's moustache gets a tragic backstory because a draft of this script was apparently written by Geoff Johns.

I knew to expect the eugenics, but I thought it would at least be funny otherwise. Whole lot of very funny people being totally wasted in this.

    The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The worst of the pre-MCU Spider-Man films, but with enough good stuff (like the best on-screen Spider-Man costume) that it isn't actually all that bad. Certainly not as bad as I thought it was when I watched it the first time. The drama between Peter and Gwen is extremely forced and every fight scene feels like you should be waiting for a quicktime event to start, but it's fine.
