I was a bit underwhelmed by The Guilty.
It wasn’t bad, I actually liked it (because who doesn’t like Jake Gyllenhaal), but I thought I’d be more into it.
The Call, one of my favorite thrillers of the 2010’s, which has a similar plot, really gave me anxiety.
The fact that the main character was participating from afar, without being physically involved, is more realistic, but gives us less imagery to stress over.
