90's comedy tropes and all.
Predictable from start to finish, no moral dilemma's for our protagonists. Atleast Adam Sandler is acting.
I'm not sure what it is but I couldn't get into this one.
I genuinely can not put my finger on it. The setup, dialogue, style, comedy is all top notch coen. But I think what drags it down is a weird lull between the 2nd and 3nd act. It's not really bad but it is quite predictable and comparably dull. It starts and ends really strongly though.
This actually adds SO much to FWWM. Some scenes definitely shouldn't have been in the movie, but others are completely essential and it baffles me they were cut in the first place.
Although I wish there was a quintessential 3+ hour cut of FWWM, watching this right after does a decent enough job.
