    The Rock is good at being super weird, and Kevin Hart proves that he is still a funny man. It is not "The Other Guys," but it closely follows that masterpiece as a buddy-comedy-action film with fleshed out characters that the audience can empathize with, and a crime plot that keeps the viewer engaged. The trailer did not contain the funniest parts, which is how it should be.

    Richard Linklater knows how to end a movie right. This film is everything I want in a film. Great music, great characters, a plot that doesn't take itself too seriously, and great laughs. Linklater has a grasp on breathing life into his characters, and the actors sure know how to make the characteristics a reality. This movie is cool as hell and is literally going to change the way I view life in college.

    Today I drove through Muscle Shoals, AL and ate at a Bojangles right down the street from Fame Studios, where great artists like Etta James, Wilson Pickett, and Clarence Carter recorded their biggest hits. I had chicken strips, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. It was delicious.
