  This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

  Between the anti-vax positions surrounding the actress playing Shuri, and a reluctance to see a Black Panther without Chadwick Boseman, I wasn't really interested in seeing this.

  Because of that, I sat on this a bit longer than I normally would.

  I'm still not happy about the anti-vax nonsense, but I gave it a go.

  Much better than I'd expected. In fact, I'd say despite it's length, it's more satisfying a viewing experience than most of the current Marvel 'product'.…

  The Questor Tapes 1974

  Another prototypical Star Trek concept before it got dumped into the 80s. In this case, the inspiration for Commander Data on TNG is fairly easy to see.

  Though this goes in a completely different direction, as this android is built by a mysterious genius who disappeared, sending his creation on a hunt across the world, with a ticking clock running before he explodes like a nuke.

  Questor passes for human (Foxworth is lucky he didn't have to wear gold contacts),…

  What on earth was all that?

  I took voice notes. I felt compelled to. After the first hour, my list of notes looked like this:

  - Made for TV arrowverse quality?

  - Keanu looks like he's unreal engine rendered much of the time

  - What the fuck is going on in this movie!

  - A heartbreaking analysis of mental illness? If so, this works

  - If a 2-hour film is filled with almost an hour of shit before it pays…
