King Cohen: The Wild World of Filmmaker Larry Cohen ★★★½

Doesn't have a ton of real insight to offer, and as a close-to-comprehensive look, it naturally runs a bit long, but it's got great interviews about great movies made by a great man. Larry's a born entertainer, and his energy keeps this whole thing afloat. Glorified DVD extra? Sure- in fact, that's what director Steve Mitchell did before trying to get this made (according to the post-screening Q&A), but it's a really fun one.

Highlight of the Q&A was Larry telling the story of why Sidney Lumet stopped talking to him- he pointed out a plot hole in The Verdict, which he proceeded to explain in great, 2.5 minute detail to all of us, delaying a screening of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.
