Sandlers phony voice takes me out of the movie all thru out, which is sad, as the script is... palpatable and Steve Buschemi's in it.
I know Sandler can be good, but here he doesnt even try. Overall its just a boring comedy without humour. And when a comedy lack humour (and likeable maincharacter), why watch it? Look anything but this smoldering heap of trash...
Positivity flowing, great fun and just plain entertaining. Old school film in modern times
Finally a good Stephen King adaptation!
Why is it good?
With a strong ensemble of young actors we not only get a good insight in their lives, but above all great performances. It feels nuanced and authentic whilst showing a supernatural being dressed as a clown; but actually mindful in keeping a lot of the drama and teenage angst relatable.
I especially like how the movie builds up its characters in this strange horrific world.
If I would point out…
Entertaining but both stupid and doesnt abide to any rules set in any previous SW movie.
Now if you see it...you'll be happy due to its pacing and visuals...but please...
