Trash reviews. Insightful reviews. What's the difference?
I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a character faster than Marcel, and I think the movie understands how powerful that can be. The simple skeleton of a plot makes room for exploration through the eyes of this lovable guy, exploration that ultimately acts as one of the most important reminders that this life we live is a beautiful thing driven by the connections we make.
This was hella impressive.
Talk all the shit you want about how your art film is better than it, but honestly, hats off to this flick and the people behind the ten years it took to get here. That was one hell of a ride, and I'm antsy like my first viewing of Empire Strikes Back for that next flick.
Blessed be the fruit.
When the entire audience cheers for someone they'd probably hate off screen the movie has got to be doing something right.
A simple setup turns into a non stop fiasco filled with laughs and scares. It's brisk and a ton of fun, so check this one out with your friends over some drinks. It's sure to be a blast.
