A very good action movie, and the fact that every scene is jam-packed with erotic tension is a big plus. First time-viewers be warned, though: some of the behavior of the characters is a bit off. For instance: Why is Maverick always kissing his sister on the mouth?

Maggie Q and Michael Keaton have some chemistry going here although it’s frequently interrupted by gunfire.

You know, Harry Callahan is well-liked by his peers, respects his neighbors, says good morning at the diner, smiles at children and old ladies, and is an all-around nice if eccentric law-abiding citizen. It’s just that he carries that 357 everywhere he goes…

As per Werner Herzog, most of the actors were hypnotized prior to reciting their lines. This might explain their affectless, dreamlike delivery. It reminds me of my work place. In a bad way.
