Lee McCoy’s review published on Letterboxd:
The western setting and a bearded K. Russell are the only things Bone Tamahawk have in common with The Hateful Eight. Let's get that out of the way first. But what a pleasant surprise this film is.
The Cronenberg feel is so abundantly apparent throughout, and the horror-esque 3rd act takes a drastic shift that can be unsettling. As a genre horror fan, I loved it. And one death scene in particular will scar the viewer for life. You have been warned.
