    Overlong, lifeless and ugly.

My kid liked the 3d but I think without that novelty it woulda even lost her.

If we’re setting aside the way these things don’t need to exist, (their insistence on ‘fixing’ the original stories is so weird) it has a few ideas I like but the execution is not for me.

The biggest sin though is the complete lack of a single inventive set piece. The songs feel weirdly slow and they don’t DO anything.…

Predictable and derivative, but the action sequences manage to be fun enough to justify it’s existence.

I gave this movie 2.5 stars previously, hahahahahaha

Seeing it again as an old person, man it’s a super specific triumph. Really crazy entry in the Andor-verse.

Joking aside though, Tony Gilroy’s pet theme seems to be that systems and the machines that power them sweep people up. Everyone. The heroes who would break those machines, unfortunately, must make tangible sacrifices for small gains. You can’t keep your comfort.

Also, I love me Sydney Pollack and his performance in this movie is literally perfection, but it was really fun to see Merrit Wever pop up unexpectedly.

    Good movie.
