I wonder if I might be a bit slow when it comes to this stuff, but most of the time in the Harry Potter films, I don't really know what's going on. Is that deliberate? Or is it, as it seems to be, just bad editing?
Terrible continuity, no consistency of magic powers, and nothing really makes any sense. At one point Dumbledore takes Harry on a magical mach 3 flying journey across oceans, and when 20 seconds later, they encounter a small pond, they wonder "How are we going to get across there?"
Dumbledore can fly and call on walls of magical flames, but falling down can kill him?
I haven't seen these films before and nor have I read the books - and nor do I much care what happens to any of the characters (stupid teenagers) - but given the track record of "nice person turns out to be a baddie", and "bad person turns out to be a goodie"... Snape's got to be the hero of the piece.
I mean... he's so mysterious and everything.
Only two more films to go and this ordeal will be over.
