The recursive storytelling was great. Felt like a comedy sketch at times, especially with that "I could see the expression on his face!" bit, and the part when Ben Kingsley had to stumble through his monologue while doing a makeup change. I think this is the furthest Anderson has gone making the artifice of his films the centerpiece and I really like it.
