Dustin Mason’s review published on Letterboxd:
This isn't THAT bad. SURE Ben Falcone can't really direct, and refuses to cut a scene short in favor of random ass improv that doesn't end after it should. McCarthy is still charming to me(she can actually act, which in my opinion-excluding Identity Thief-always helps) and Jason Bateman stole the whole thing(he's a goddamn crab man-and why in the fuck did him and McCarthy have exceptionally way better chemistry in this? Semi-mindblowing). Cannavale needs to stop being wasted in lame villain roles but he's fine. I didn't mind this. McCarthy and Spencer are a sweet if forgettable team, it's fine.
