Dustin Baker’s review published on Letterboxd:
Another respectable find in the new year. It's your basic "guy goes nuts in a cabin with shit that may or may not be haunted" formula, with nothing surprising at all in the over all plot. But the lead is charismatic, and the town sheriff constantly fucking with him is pretty entertaining. There's just something about a guy being a prick in a low-key but smarmy way that's fun to watch. There's a few bits of effective horror imagery sprinkled throughout the film, but then shit goes off its rocker like a bat out of hell for fucking crazy third act that even if you know where it's going (and it's easy to tell from the get go), the sheer brutality of it will make you blink for a bit afterwards, dazed.
Good ol' Rob G. makes a pretty fun cameo as well.
