DylanBookluck’s review published on Letterboxd:
“Home is where I want to be
Pick me up and turn me round
I feel numb, burn with a weak heart
I guess I must be having fun
The less we say about it the better
Make it up as we go along
Feet on the ground
Head in the sky
It's ok I know nothing's wrong”
An instant pick me up film, god damn it’s so joyous and seeing everyone have so much fun is incredible, I could literally watch this on repeat 24/7, the cinematography is also something Wes Anderson would only dream of
Few notes-
* This version of Psycho killer fukn slaps and is way better than studio version (“hey I’ve got a tape I wanna play”)
-The whole life during wartime performance is the best live performance ever, David Byrnes energy during that whole performance is incredible
-David Byrnes energy/dancing
-the set list is something only gods could perform
-this version of Genius of love is a mad banger (Tina Weymouths troll dance thing is also a vibe)
-BIG SUIT
Really wanna put this in my favourites but I guess it’s not really a movie, idk I’ll see what Peter thinks when he watches it, now imma go depress myself watching The Father
“Well how did I get here?”
