Possibly the least glamorous gangster film I've ever seen? Frank spends his whole life devoted to his job, and all he has to show for it is killing his best friend and alienating his daughter. Thought it was interesting how Frank's duties were essentially presented as a job, one that sucks a lot of the time. And god, every scene with Peggy was absolutely devastating. Paquin is given like 1 line, and yet all her scenes hit the hardest.
