This film is a less appreciated/remembered part of Lynch's filmography when compared to Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet. But it entertained and enthralled me for the entire 2-hour runtime perhaps even more than those other two films? I still haven't made up my mind. Either way, combining the Lynchian surrealism with the brilliance of Cage, Dern and Dafoe's performances, Wild at Heart makes for a seriously compelling watch.
