This Asterix remake is weird

Perhaps my expectations were to high, but this feels lackluster and strangely empty on almost every level except the cinematography.

I struggle to think of another movie that treats its characters with the same warmth and empathy as this calm and moving delight. Even better the second time around and im already looking forward to countless rewatches in the future.
