People talk about Richard Donner's Superman and Tim Burton's Batman and The Dark Knight and any of the Marvel movies as the greatest superhero movies of all time, but what actually makes Spaghettiman the ACTUAL G.O.A.T. is that it's an original idea that's not swiped directly from all the hard mostly under-appreciated work of comic creators over the decades, and best of all... IT'S HILARIOUS! Actually, best of all is that it involves spaghetti, and I like spaghetti. Don't have…

Love love love this one.. Emma Thompson is amazing and Mindy Kaling knocks one out of the park with this script. I wouldn't be even remotely surprised if this movie is talked about come awards times.

Man, what a great concert film this is, and so much better than Show, which I caught inadvertently on Monday. This is by far one of the best Cure line-ups and they were coming off the success of The Head on the Door and their first compilation, and Robert Smith was on fire, fluidly changing from the floppy pop muppet to the serious musician strumming at his guitar while singing about faith and death and other such things. Part of why this worked so well was because Tim Pope who did many of the band's videos directed the film and gave each song a unique look/feel.

I still think this film is hugely underrated, mainly because George Lazenby only appeared in one movie as palate cleanser between Connery and Moore, and it also would be the last movie of the '60s, which allowed the franchise into the '70s with Moore. The movie falls right between Connery's class and Moore's quips and puns but it featured some amazing action scenes as well as Savalas as Blofeld and Diana "Emma Frickin' Peel" Rigg!!! The movie also has one of the most poignant for any James Bond movie EVER.. so yeah, give Lazenby his due!
