There is injustice in the world. I'm not sure I can form the right words for what needs to be said. Let's just get this part out of the way. Ava DuVernay is one of the top directors we have working right now. Technically and creatively this mini-series is top notch. Cinematography by Bradford Young is, as always top notch as well. You want to watch well made films, see this, period.

Frustrating film. Very awesome subject matter. I have no idea why they included that love triangle storyline. It took you out of the film each time.
The history of the operation and its importance of it far exceed the love triangle happening at the route of this film.
