  Yeah this one is... dated.

  There’s a lot of incest and rape in this that’s passed off as “oh haha we’re a quirky family it’s fine :)” ... Like I can relate to a lot of the coming of age aspects. And using film to address dark subject matters is great, I’m all for that. The messaging is just absurd and shallow. The victim blaming bathroom scene was INSANE.

  “Family is the most important thing, even if my dad Ivanka Trump’s me and molests my cousin” is... a bad message! That’s it, bye!

  edit: my original review was really long and loving but i got embarassed by all the hate and deleted it... but that’s dumb. this movie is beautiful. it has scenes in it i’ll never forget. why do people hate creative and playful experimental films. why do y’all hate fearless women!
