Ethan’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is one of the best comedies of all time, and there's really no debate about that. There's only one thing I could say is wrong with it. I hate Phil (Bill Murray) at the beginning of the movie, and I still hate him by the end of it. Sure, he's changed as a person; he has an arc, but I still don't like him as a person. It's not really a problem that I don't like early Phil since it's good to have flaws in your main character (especially when that's kinda the point of the movie), but I was disappointed in late movie Phil. Otherwise, the movie is perfect.
The movie is best watched in a large group, especially if everyone has seen the movie all ready. That way, you can joke about the film while it's happening. That's how you end up with theories on how everything works. That's how I'm now 110% sure that Ned Ryerson is the main villain and cause of the time loop. Watch it again, you'll see it's all a ploy to sell insurance
